About Us
We've Actually Run IT Departments
For over four decades, we've been in your shoes—running IT departments, managing budgets, making high-stakes technology decisions, and dealing with vendors who cared more about their commission than our success.
We Speak Your Language
Technology is complex. Technology vendors make it more complex on purpose.
We translate:
Technical jargon → Business impact
Vendor promises → Realistic outcomes
IT recommendations → Budget implications
Risk assessments → Decision frameworks
We're Built on Integrity
Veteran-owned and operated. Service above self isn't just a motto—it's how we conduct business. We protect your interests like they're our own because that's the only way we know how to execute.
Meet our Founder
I founded TVG after spending over two decades leading IT operations in financial services and other highly regulated industries.
With extensive experience in banking and credit union environments, I've lived every challenge my clients face: cybersecurity threats, regulatory compliance, disaster recovery planning, budget constraints, vendor management, and the constant pressure to do more with less.
My approach is shaped by experience, not theory:
-
I've managed technology operations through economic downturns, regulatory changes, and rapid growth periods
-
Built disaster recovery programs that actually work when tested
-
Navigated countless vendor relationships (the good, the bad, and the ones I should have fired sooner)
-
Led teams through system migrations, security incidents, audit preparations, and everything in between
-
Made technology decisions with real money, real consequences, and real accountability
-
Two decades means I've made mistakes—and learned from them
I started TVG to provide the honest, experienced guidance I wished I'd had access to throughout my career—an advisor who understands both the technology and the business, has no sales agenda, and tells the truth even when it's uncomfortable.
If you want straight answers about your technology, let's talk. We'll tell you what you need to hear—not what you want to hear. That's the only way we know how to operate.
